libdigest-jhash-perl software package provides Perl extension for 32 bit Jenkins Hashing Algorithm, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdigest-jhash-perl
libdigest-jhash-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdigest-jhash-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdigest-jhash-perl *
You will get with libdigest-jhash-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
